Superstitious???? How can something written almost 2,000 years ago be accurate today? Read Revelations Nukes, broadcasting, mark of the beast etc... are all in there. Technology is a tool created by man that will be abused by man! So my answer is absolutely this is setting the stage and the technology is just waiting to be abused by the Beast/one world order.
